Stock Navigation Video Playback

Is there anyway to trick my 370z so I am able to play movies on the factory navigation system without having the parking break up or being at a stopped?

There is a way around this but I havent done it. Search through the "back up camera" threads and you will find the answer.

Yup. Take apart the dash, remove the audio harness and ground the park brake wire (65 I believe) to the frame and you're good to go.

as a quick follow up question. What video sources can a 2009 nav unit play?

Dvd - Dont believe it does
Ipod/Iphone - Dont believe it does
RCA input - That one for sure, but i havnt tried it.

You need the NavTool to really get the most from a 2009 head unit.
The 2010's come with the DVD playback and a hi-def screen.
