Droid vs ipod....

Does the Pandora app on a droid sound as good as regular radio or stuff off an ipod? I have the Bose system but haven't tried either one. Just wondering whether to carry my ipod or the droid on a trip.

The pandora app sounds good if you have it set to high quality audio in the settings of the actual app.

I believe it's 192kbps. Some of your ndividual mp3s may be recorded at a higher bitrate (quality) but I doubt you'll be able to hear the difference if they are.

The 192kbps option is only available on Pandora One and it's not available on mobile apps.

DI Radio is very good and available for both Android and iPhone. Its the best streaming network tailored to Techno/House/Trance/D&B/Electronic out there. The free version allows unlimited streaming at 96kbps and the paid version ($5 a month?) lets you stream 256kbps. I'm a subscriber. If you listen to this type of music you'll be hooked!
