I seriously doubt that you will damage your spare. I have had there enclosure for about a year now and the only issue that I have is that it rattles. It is not a problem with the box design, I just got whacked with the unlucky stick and got the one that had issues. I am sure that you would be happy with this produce and their customer support is spot on.
