Anyone running a Clarion head unit?

bigaudiofanat 03-09-2011 08:31 PM

Clarion does not make high quality head units they make sort of base units. The older single din ones were amazing however they have become sort of like sony where there is no pride in their products. I would recommend kenwood if I were you.

Thats what I have been wondering. Pioneer or Kenwood dd is what i will go with then.

bigaudiofanat 03-09-2011 09:38 PM

I would go with kenwood over those choices.

What model from Kenwood would you pick?

did kenwood improve their products in the last several years. The last time I looked at them was about 10 years ago and I got the impression that they were kinda like Sony at the time. The advice I got from a trusted friend is don't buy car audio based on the reputation of one's home audio. I have had good luck with pioneer premier and alpine isn't bad.
