3 way comp placement
 

I picked up some CDT HD 642's. I am going to deaden my doors. When I ordered my zenclosure box I also got a set of 6.5in adapters/spacer rings. With the extra room because fo the 6x9 plastic housing in the door I am going to see if I get my my 4 in to mount close to the midbass speaker. Is the factory grill going to muffle my speakers or do I need to cut it out and cover my hole with cloth? The CDT website says to mount tweet as close to the rest of the speakers as possible but I have seen many people mount them on the A-piller. Would the stock location work?

I know that the 3 way is a PITA but I got a $550 set of for $250. I guess I could install it like a standard set and put the 4's behind the set in "stock" location.
