HeadUnit - What sources do you listen to? CD's? iPod? XM/Sirius? Cassettes? What's your budget?

SubWoofers - Do you like rap music? Classical? Polka? What's your budget?

Amplifiers - Want to make your entire trunk an amp rack with 10,000W of power? Or stealthy 500W of quality current? What's your budget?

Speaker - Like metal domes? Silk domes? Do you like horns (pun from another thread)?

Well my budget would be around $2,000. I just want something with nice bass. For speakers, I heard Polk is pretty good. I like rap, pop and R&B. Can I have nice bass without the huge trunk amp?

Did you want a double-DIN HU for NAV/larger screen? If not, that'll lower the cost.

The dB's are very well regarded here; you can't go wrong.

A Z-enclosures with two 10" subs (Polk, Alpine, JL, etc.) will do the trick for you. Unless you want to boom a block away, you'll be fine with these and the in-cabin gain.

Amp? Sounds you want space. Alpine PDX, JL HD are two compact, nicely powered choices.

SubWoofers - ???? Single 10" in a wooden box $250 If you have the base model I have a trick set up for you that fits inside the spare. more expensive but much nicer then a wooden box. If you decide on tehe spare tire box it is about $700 ish with sub and enclosure.

Speaker - ????? HSK 165 $399.95

You will have a full system with great sound. great midbass and excellent sound reproduction.
