Did you use an aftermarket wiring harness? If so, which one? Part # etc.

My installer used a harness, so I dont know, but to answer your question, the Amplifier is located under the passenger seat.

NYBladeZ, Steering wheel controls were maintained with the use of the PAC unit that I bought for about 45 bucks. Glad to report that ALL the functionality of the steering wheel controls can be retained with the PAC unit and an Eclipse aftermarket HU.

Sometimes I run into a few delays and responsiveness isnt 100% as with the stock HU, but given the quality of the stock speakers and head unit left much to be desired. the exchange was worth it IMO.
