Sat Nav system advise
Ok, Ladies and germs.
I need some advise from all you out there about my new Sat Nav systems. I am 2 to 3 weeks away from my upgrade. Looking for some advise on a Sat Nav/Radio system. 1st, I need a GOOD reliable Sat Nav. One that follows the best route. 2nd, looking for a larger screen, at least 6.9 inchs "that's what she said"! 3rd, want a good Radio that will work easily with my Iphone4, is easy to use and sounds good. I listed the above requirements in order of importance to me. Below are the only 3 system I have though about so far. However I am open to any advise or recommendations on other systems. 1, Amazon.com: Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT 7" In-Dash Navigation AV Receiver with iPod/iPhone Control, Bluetooth, Pandora: Car Electronics 2,Amazon.com: Kenwood Excelon DNX9140 In-Dash Double-Din DVD Multimedia AV Receiver (Black): Car Electronics 3, Amazon.com: Package: Brand New Sony Xnv-770bt 7" Touchscreen Double Din In-dash Dvd/mp3/wma/aac/jpeg/mp4 Receiver with Built in Tomtom Navigation and Bluetooth + Night Vision Back up Camera: Car Electronics Cherish... |
I just recently went with Kenwood (in my case 6960) and one of the reasons was due to the Nav. You can't beat the Garmin system in the Kenwood.

True, gamin is the industry standard.

The sony is very highly reviewed on crutchfield. I'm leaning that way myself. Only problem is is a 1st gen unit and I generally try to stay away from first gens. Just ignore the fact I have a 2009 370z.

OUt of those three I would highly recommend the kenwood over the other two just good quality and the garmin gps is nice.

I was looking for more info on what people are recommending too. Found your post because I was looking for more info on the Pioneer system and found your post searching its model number. They all seem like good choices, I guess I'll have to look into the others now too.

I like the Sony for the price, but everyone on the site swears by the Pioneer or Kenwood. I'm not looking for a Club level sound system to burst my ear drums. Only a good system that will get the job done.
