Reading MP3 and WMA files from compact flash

I know the manual says it can read only audio files. Is there any way that it can read MP3 and WMA files?? Please let me know......

Those are the type of "audio files" it reads.

Bringing this back from the dead....... Couple of questions

1) I have a Compact Flash card in the Z, does it read mp3s? or wma? Tried the manual but it is vague.

2) How do I access from the radio the Compact Flash Card?

I appreciate the help.

It will only read MP3s, maybe WMAs, I dunno

Before this thread goes past 10 posts, know that the CF has EXTREME limitations, mainly you can't put something like more than 128 songs. That's said, use a 3.5mm to RCA connector or buy an old iPod to keep plugged in.

I'll try putting some mp3s in there and see what happens.

It will read up to 512 files, mp3 or wma . Access it by pressing the aux-disc button. It will cycle through the different inputs. You should also have 40GB music box, which you can rip CD's to. You'll need the cf card to transfer tag info, though.
