Depends, what amp are you running? What box are you going to put them in? What kind of difference are you looking for subtle more calm faster respons? Ported or sealed?

WoofersEtc.com - 16-MAD1000 - Memphis 1100 x 1 Class D Marine Subwoofer Amplifier I will be going with a ported custom box, looking for deeper bass. Just based on switching the subs what kinda difference can i expect. |

I did this exact thing for last season, I was very happy with the results. The difference is massive, I tried the Bose sub after and I could barely tell it was working.
Hard to quantify the difference, but it's massive that's for sure sort of like no sub vs turning on the sub. Huge change when you turn the sub on, really miss it when you turn it off. But once I did the sub upgrade I caught the mod bug bigtime, now the entire Bose system is gone and I have moved on to performance mods. |

I have (or will have in May once it's delivered) a '11 370z, Touring/Sports w/Nav...Thinking about only swapping out the two 4" subs when I get it with possibly a custom box with either two 8''s or one 10". Not looking for a consistant BOOM sound but more of a tight kick bass sound. Any suggestions on amp size and speaker type? Thanks in advance!
