Steering Wheel Audio Controls w/ Aftermarket

Does anyone know if the audio controls on the base Z can be used to control an after market head unit? If so, any recommended brands? Thanks.

Yes it can. If you do a search, you'll find some information on it. Product from PAC-Audio. The specific model depends on which after market radio you have.
