Pioneer AVH-3200 - need a dash kit?
A question for those who have installed the Pioneer AVH-3200 to replace their non bose factory set-up.
Did anyone need a dask kit or is it a clean, stock looking install with just the head unit attached to the factory bracket (just swapping head units)? |

i had a base radio, and i currently have a pioneer x920bt. i considered purchasing a dash kit, but after fitting it in with the stock dash i actually dont mind the minor gap. it looks bad in pictures thanks to the flash lighting it up, but in person i actually dont see it as a problem. saved myself 40bucks there too

Ok, got everything apart (PITA!)
How do I identify the audio output wires from the factory wiring harness that lead to the female part of the door molex? Do I need to cut these from the female part of the door molex to hook into the input on my crossover? I'm stuck...Help!? |

And how the *&^$&%^#$&# do you run the new speaker wire through the door molex?? It gets caught on the rubber housing, I can't get more than about three inches through.
Holy crap this is frustrating. |

noob question, you won't need a small amp to power the speakers?

? the HU has an internal amp so you can use that, or use the line-outs and use an external amp to power your speakers. for the most part, i think most people will be happy with just using the HU's amp unless you're a stereophile kinda guy for cars.
