I would highly advise against t taps as they are a cheap way of doing things. Splice into the wire and solder or heat shrink or both with the wire.

I would highly advise against t taps as they are a cheap way of doing things. Splice into the wire and solder or heat shrink or both with the wire. Plus the wires are very tinny so I do not think you can sue them. The antenna is magnetic and usually comes with a sticky plate you can stick anywhere.
