question about using bluetooth with phone
 

is it just me are do all after market systems suck when it comes to sound quailty. when using it to recive phone calls? incoming sound is ok but on the other end everyone says it bad. is this just a hit or miss with certain models
or what.

I don't know, but I would say, 25% of the time I end up just using the handset because I can't understand wtf they are saying.

We all know the road noise in our Z's is terrible, and the mic in the roof just pics it up and sends it.
It would be interesting to find out if it was possible to turn off the mic in the roof and use a bluetooth mic on our face.
I wonder if that would be any better?

Can be mic location can be manufacture of head unit. I know kenwoods have great incoming and outgoing signals for audio for phones.
