![]() ![]() I too am interested in how to make the stock Bose sound a bit better. I had a Bose in my RX-8, and it sounded great. I have a Bose in my Mazda3 HB, and it sounds good. I have the Bose in the Z, and it sounds just slightly better than crap. Obviously, the acoustics of these cars is different, but I suspect a decline in quality over the years. I'm not enough of an audiophile to change the HU. I might consider changing speakers. I have found that I can get a much better sound by fading the speakers more to the front (surprisingly, at least to me, I get more out of the spare-tire mounted sub this way). I listen to mostly rock. Anybody play around with the fade settings for better sound? Got a recommendation for replacement speakers? ![]()
