I bought my Sport/Touring (no nav) this week and had read on this forum about the added expense of replacing Bose stuff with aftermarket, but decided I really wanted the leather seats enough to get the touring package. Does the Bose have to be replaced all at once? Can I just replace the speakers with aftermarket that fit in the factory locations, and swap the Bose amp(s) for aftermarket? If I do decide to upgrade beyond the Bose, I'd want to do it in chunks... maybe speakers/amp, sub/amp, and head unit in 3 more affordable installs (and not have to leave my car at a shop overnight). Can I replace the OEM head unit and keep the Bose amps/speakers for now? I'd like better iPod integration and navigation. |
