Bose is bose no matter what system it is if it is bose they all use the same signal processor and crappy speakers.

GT-R's audio sounds quite abit better to me.

The only thing that I really noticed is the lack of Bass in my car. the bass in the megane was godwin

I'm surprised you even listen to the Bose in the GT-R. :)

I'd keep the stereo off most of the time and roll the windows down. :tup:

Back to OP - yes, the stock stereo is liveable, but changing out the speakers is really the only option. There's some serious equalization going on with the stock Bose amp, AFAIK, so you'll need to swap the amp out when you swap the speaks.

the GT-R isn't THAT extreme in terms of engine noise :p

LOL - but it probably sounds like music more than this Bose system we have in the Z. :)
