Motion activated cameras?

Anyone know any small and not to over priced motion activated cameras that I can attach to the car.

I need something that isn't visible but will activate when someone tries to walk next to the car. I also need about 3-4 cameras. One for each side mirror and something for the front and back.

My entire life, I always had someone messing with my mom's car or dad's car. I know who it is but I have no evidence to point my fingers at him. Please help me out in looking for a small affordable camera system for the car.

I have been looking around and can only find the ones that show the front and back.

Thanks

do you have enough lighting at night? might be worth checking security cameras online, or just run your digital camera at night until you catch the bastard.

one way is to confront the guy face to face. just tell him you've been finding crap on your mom/dads car and want to know if he knows anything about it. ive had to do this to a fat middle aged woman down the street cause she kept letting her dog pee on my dd's wheels. even left a couple bricks near the car. i just walked right up to her and asked her about it. solved.

I wish it was that easy.

I have confronted him and his family before. They just deny it, but this time I really want hard evidence and catch him red handed.

I really want those side mirror cameras and one for the front and one for the back.

something like this:

:iagree: If you confront them, they will most likely not try it again knowing you suspect them. Spending a lot on a surveylence system should be a last resort, but would provide some peace of mind. 2 cameras placed correctly should be more than enough as long as it not easily visible.

Do the cameras need to be on the car? Could you setup a camera looking out a window of the home? A nice digital video camera with nightvision and hooked up to a computer with a nice harddrive might work.

It has to be on the car. I want it to be as hidden as possible. My home window's do not have a direct view of the car when it is parked.

I actually want him to try something again so I can just catch him red handed. I don't mind him damaging the car again as it is already beat up a bit.

When ever he does this it is just so he can make us waste more money cleaning up the damages.

My old car was also vandalized by him too. Basically EVERY car my family has ever owned, he has vandalized. The only car that has yet to be touched is the 370z. That is because I rented out a garage for that car.

I live in an area with a ton of Condos. We have a huge lot in the back but the first floor is filled with restaurants. So the first floor extends further out in the back which blocks the view to the lot.

A pitbull won't help at all. I just need a good surveillance system for the car similar to the one I posted above with the youtube link. I just do not know what company makes it so I am having a hard time looking for it.

look at gander mountain, bass pro, or cabela's. You might beable to get a reasonible price for some hunting cameras. Some get pretty small and can be had in infared. The "game" doesn't even now it is being filmed and the pics are clear. just a thought.

Here's a few links. The first one is a serious system but at a serious price.

Mobile Watchman Car Camera Security Systems - Mobile Watchman EDR Complete System - Recommended | Event Data Recorder (EDR) | OBS, Inc.

Car Security Camera | Car Surveillance System | Video Surveillance Cameras

long range spy cameras
CC408E and CC408N Weatherproof Outdoor Motion Sensing Security Camera with Microphone
Motion Sensor Hidden Camera and DVR Recorder

Long Range Wireless Camera's for your computer in the house? or maybe even a night-motion sensing camera? Used by hunters to track and take photos of their prey before hunting the area? :)

Those are nice cameras but I need something that will fit on the side mirrors and isn't too obvious.

Or a camera that can replace the side mirror with a new one but has a camera behind it.
