2fast,
I'm considering going with your material suggestions. Did you have any trouble getting the interior to fit back in correctly using so much material beneath it? I've never done an installation before and am considering doing something similar to what you did. Thanks for any help. Last edited by kree; 04-16-2011 at 12:55 AM. |

I used 1 order (37.5 sq ft) of Raamat deadening. I ordered 3 yards of the adhesive backed foam. I just cut strips and patched worked the "trunk" with the deadener. and cover the panel and just behind the speakers in the doors. I then foam covered the panel on the doors. I got lazy and was fighting the wind so the trunk isn't foamed. I still have quite a bit left of both. lots of foam

Not exactly an ideal fix but it worked well. I am sure when and "IF" i have to remove it down the road I will regret it. If I hadnt of used the ensolite there it wouldnt have been a problem so just dont put it there and you can save yourself the trouble. Everywhere else was not a problem.
