Question about installing aftermarket navi in touring bose Z
Hey guys,
I have a new 370 touring w/ bose system but without navi.. I want navi lol so I'm thinking of buying Pioneer AVIC-X920BT Navigation receiver at Crutchfield Signature Now it says I should buy this as well PAC SOEM-4 Universal 4-channel line output converter at Crutchfield.com Why do I need that adapter, also would I need another adapter for the steering wheel controls? Thanks! |
The bose system requires low input threw the wires that are available in the back of the radio. You use that to wire up the two harness the adapter and the radios new harness.
I have NOT gotten the metra axes to work on two instances with the bose system. I have yet to try the pac but I am not sure if that will help even though the metra is better. |
So you're suggesting I don't buy the PAC one and get a metra one? Where would i buy that and do you know if the critchfield comes with schoske. Or metra/ again which would you prefer? Thanks!

No I am saying the steering wheel controls there are two the metra and the pac. I have NOT gotten the metra to work with the bose controls. I am not sure about the pac. The pac LOC the one you linked is what you need for audio.
