Please forgive my stupidity and lack of helpfulness, but wouldn't it be better to be looking through the windscreen while the car is moving?

Hmm I go out on a limb that probably nobody here will tell you for legality purposes. I say this because almost all car forums I have been apart of this topic is never discussed in the open. But somebody my message you. But you are better off going to avic411.com or just googling it or youtube much quicker then waiting here.

Let's hope he meant he wanted the passenger to be able to view a video while in motion. From the driver's seat we all have the ability to observe a constantly changing circus around us.
