i called them up and told them i was able to go to their shop in NY and they still quoted me 500 for the 2010 unit. supposedly its different. i would have done the navtool a long time ago if it was plug and play. apparently it works flawlessly for the '09s.

says plug and play for the 09 and 10 and only $350 I bet it is $250 on bay let me check.

anyone take the dash out yet. If I can see the back of the screen and the back of the HU i can tell you a bit more.

hmmmm 250 on ebay. but on bay it says 09 only on navtools site it says 2009 and 2010 interesting.

yea i don't know why they haven't updated their site yet. i have spoken with them on several occasions and they said that its a different uni for 2010 and that it requires cutting/soldering etc.

be interesting to get the install instructions from them to see what is really involved in the install.

on what, the plug and play or the one where you have to wire things and cut/solder

I have a few pics of the 2010 nav harness which I took yesterday. I posted some up in another thread. Search my posts and if that's not what you were referring to I'll add the other pics I took.

I did a quick Google search. Seems back-up cams with 170 -180 degree FOV are commonplace and cheap ($50- $100). So much for needing side vision. Carry on...
