Navigation System
Will a 2009 infiniti g37 navigation system fit in a 370z touring model if you have all of the parts? I know the hazard button on the g37 is right under the navigation screen where on the 370z it is on the shifter trim piece. would the hazard button wire reach to the navigation screen?

It may, but if you search this has been asked for the z nav system. It is not worth the time or money to install, the bose system you would have to use with the bose amps and speakers and you would also have to make sure you know the wires because they are probably different than the z weather it is the z nav or the infinity. It probably can be done but your talking more money than what it is worth.

+1 - did the pricing and a little legwork as to what's involved. Replacing the parts isn't too hard, it seems a lot of the touring wiring is used for the nav. But the cost of the parts is prohibitive.
After all is said and done - if you do aftermarket, you're probably better off. I reluctantly came to that conclusion. However, that Alpine double-DIN HU looks awfully nice...

Get the alpine you will love it. It is what I will be putting in my maxima next fall when I buy it.

I'm an Alpine fan when they came out with their iDA line of digital media receivers - no CD player (they were the first, I believe - now a bunch of other manufacturers are putting their own out).
I was hoping they'd put out the same in a double-DIN with GPS (i.e., no discload slot), but I haven't seen it yet. Do the GPS units need a disc slot? Maybe for updates?
