Hope to have mine end of this week or early next week. Already have the camera so might get that installed at the weekend in anticipation of the wiring kit arriving.

Will I be the first in the UK to have it Brian? (on a 370z of course, I undertand you have some GTR owners with it already)

Yes, you will be the first UK 370z owner to get the kit.

hm, i would have thought the UK would have included the backup camera in the 2009/2010. i thought it was more or less a JDM spec car pretty much.

I hoped they would too, but nope, no such luck, not even as a money grabbing option

Just glad great people in the community can come up trumps with stuff like this, its one of the easiest mods I've done to my Zeds! Lots more orders will likely come from the UK when they get to see it can hopefully be done over here.

well you guys get the 40th anniversary black edition, and you get NAV in the 40th, along with transmission choice (although the 6spd only doesn't bother me) but then again, your cars cost a pretty penny.... or pence

Now that all the 2010 kits are on they way, just a reminder to help each other by suggesting any improvements to instructions. The instructions are a lot more detailed that you would probably get on any other kit but that doesn't mean they can't be better.

With the GT-R community the feedback made the instructions even better with people submitting alternative images (for example on the EU GT-Rs there are no holes behind the rear license plate).

So for you trailblazers out there (especially roadster owners) help the other guys out by sending me any suggested improvements to the instructions. I can then apply them to the online version everyone has a link to.

Cheers,
Brian

The only difference between the roadsters and the coupes is going to be in running the wire through the trunk. The interiors are the same so hooking up the adapter to the radio is the same in both cars. I have a DIY here:Backup Camera installed in Roadster, that was discussed earlier in this thread, which shows how to run the wire through the trunk and into the cabin without having to remove any of the panels behind the seats. Once you have the wire run into the cabin you just run it under the center console and up to the radio.
