https://docs.google.com/document/pub...dJDtKoKnP54Qfs Based on what I'm hearing what I could provide is a plug and play harness to achieve the same results but with NO cutting or tampering with any original wiring. The dilemma is that although the parts aren't that expensive the harnesses are very time consuming to make. I therefore need to to think about the price and get a sense of if people would be interested. |

The seat heater switch would work! It is a rocker front to back with central neutral. The front position could be NAV VSS on and the central position off (for input) and the rear position camera on!
This is an image of the aftermarket switch for the fog light sold by the Zstore http://www.op.co.kr/ii/t4/imgd/th201...931fe9d68e.jpg These parts might work though. They are the factory seat heater switches. http://www.courtesyparts.com/370z-pa...8759_8763.html If not, then these: http://www.wiringproducts.com/conten...ker_switch.jpg at this web store http://www.wiringproducts.com/ |

As far as the bypass kit is concerned....I think the remote is the best option. You can just store it in the glove box or center console, and then you or your passenger can control the settings. It would be like a movable switch console and you don't have to change the interior.
I would be down for a kit using a remote (like the one you made for the GTR). I don't want to add any switches to the interior, and already have the foglight switch in the center console between the seat heaters. |

Having a convertible, and heated/cooled seats, I don't have any blank spots. |

Perhaps there could be two options? One system with a switch and one with a remote! I personally do not like the idea of having to look for a remote to engage the NAV bypass or turn on the camera. Switch is better for me... |

I know the NAV bypass allows you to enter destinations while driving...is the NAV bypass also what allows you to play dvds while driving? Or is that something else? If so, than a 3rd button would be required.

I prefer the switch option as well.

Therefore the idea for those wanting a hard/physical switch would be a Dual Pole (or maybe tripple pole) On-Off-On switch like this Full Size Rocker Switches - 1/4'' Tabs see 7700044 example. Dual pole On-Off-On switch solution: The parking brake bypass would be permanent (not sure I like this idea though. Although there appears to be no downside I wonder if it might through an error at the dealer) Switch in the off position would do nothing Switch in the up position would use one pole of the switch to bypass speed sensor Switch in the down position would activate the reversing camera using the second pole of the switch. Triple pole On-Off-On switch solution (assuming we could find an appropriate switch): Switch in the off position would do nothing Switch in the up position would use one pole of the switch to bypass speed sensor and another pole to bypass parking brake sensor Switch in the down position would activate the reversing camera using the second pole of the switch. |
