Bluetooth Problems w/ Phone

So I did a quick search first, and didn't really come up with any results to my problem, besides reading

http://www.the370z.com/audio-video/2...-problems.html

I have a Blackberry Tour for verizon, with absolutely no connection problems. But I let my dad drive my car about once a week when I am unable to, just so the car isn't sitting in the driveway. And he has major problems with his Curve 8530. Nissan said that the bluetooth is not compatible with the Curve. Is this BS? Or is this true, and if so, there has to be a way to update the bluetooth in the car...?

Nissan has a compatible list. This part is true. I would imagine that they will need to update future phones too. Sorry for incomplete answer.

My htc thunderbolt doesnt connect either. Whats really wierd is that when i try to do the setup the way it is written in the manual, voice command-say navigation-say setup, the setup option isnt even there?

OP, try going into the bluetooth options and turning off every bluetooth profile other than Handsfree, then pair.
