Remote Start for 6MT? (Alarm Installers, chime in).

hahah. Actually with the Z's fake suade stuff, the butt and lower back part of the seat probably behave similarly to cloth in terms of temperature.

Old thread, but still to shed some light on the misconceptions that some have ..

It is only unsafe when done improperly. Ignorance is no excuse. This is the shops responsibility, not yours or any consumers to hold their hand. Ask questions of what method they are doing. Your car, your money, you have a Right to know what they are doing with it.

NSS - Neutral Safety Switch. At least 65+% of Nissans/Infinitis over the past decade have it. Locate it and use it. As simple as that and everything will work just like an auto trans. Most importantly it is Safe.

When bypassing a clutch, do it right. Use a relay off the status wire from your aftermarket alarm/starter. Just throwing a nut on or grounding a wire (Not always applicable anyway) is NOT the right way to do it and you will lose normal vehicle functionality.

OEM 'alarms' are very simple to bypass AND still retain function. In most cases this is incorporated with the needed bypass for your transponder unit anyway. It will still work, although no better than it did prior. No worse either though.
