Static noise from HU???
 

I have my iPhone connected to my clarion HU through iPod adaptor cable, and about a week ago it started to produce random static noise (high pitch...like the sound of a dirty CD) during music playback and it seems like it's getting worse each day. :confused:

But it only happens when I play music through my iPhone. Video playback from iPhone does not recreate this issue. Everything was working perfectly until last week and I'm trying to find out what is causing this problem. Does anyone know what could be causing this issue? :hello:

P.S. My AM frequency is also producing constant high pitch sound, but not my FM or CD. :confused::confused::confused:

Does the pitch increase with the RPM?

Check your ground sounds like it is becoming loose.
