You can go on the Navteq website and find out. I just bought one (that didn't work cause my car is from the US) and I seem to remember that it had new data on it. Still 200 euros for an update disk is a bit steep. First I'm hearing about the Carminate maps though.

In Europe is silence, as far as the map update

There aren't many info on the internet about this sistem, for Nissan, but there are for Inifiniti, so...
I really don't know how many dealers have the special tool needed for upgrade...

I've asked Niaasn Europe and NA and both say that it's a hardware limitation. Meaning that if you imported a US Z to Europe the only solution to your problem can be found at Garmin | Follow the leader

That's true. Navteq does not offer updates for Nissan HDD nav systems. This is because the Euro model Zs all have a disk based nav system - different from US model Z cars. I don't know about UK Zs. They seem to be on their own program, but last I heard they were all DVD based navs as well.

In the States if you want to get a nav update you have to go through the dealer who use a special computer to install the updates. Here in Europe you can just buy the DVDs from Navteq and do it yourself. Unfortunately the two systems are not interchangeable. If you have a US car the nav will NOT work in Europe and if you have a European Z the nav will NOT work in the US.

Because the Infiniti has the same HDD as the 370 I've asked them if they are able to update the nav. They answered me that they don't have that possibility either. They expect to have an update DVD in July. Possibly that will count for the Nissan to.

I'll keep you informed
