No amp to run the component speakers or head unit??

TreeSemdyZee 09-14-2010 10:49 PM

In for pics.

I didn't run an amp and I have front components and rear speakers. I can crank it up loud enough to cause involuntary bladder function.

I don't really blast my music all that loud and to be honest the new speakers was a last minute decision.. I think I'll be more than fine without an amp...

You'll be glad you went with the new speakers. I'm amazed that I can actually hear the music with my windows down. The stock speakers are so puny.

Great choice on the Polk components. I was looking at these earlier today, as Amazon has a great deal for these right now.

Amazon.com: Polk Audio DB6501 6.5-Inch 2-Way Component System (Pair, Silver): Electronics

Follow up: What made you choose the Pioneer HU? Just curious, as I'm looking into starting to piece together my *future* system.

ROC1ROB 09-15-2010 05:43 PM

BOSE ftw :ugh2: Looks good and don't forget our pictures.

DeEePiDDy 09-15-2010 05:43 PM

I got mine off eBay for $110. A total steal!

daimon1313 09-15-2010 05:46 PM

Ah. Yeah, that would certainly make the decision easy.
