Double Din Navigation with g-force, 0-60 etc?

I will eventually replace the stock radio with an aftermarket navigation/stereo system. What I really want it to have though, is the ability to do what the GTechpro can do (g-force, 0-60, hp, tq, etc). Does this exist?

How about something like this?

^^Yeah, I saw that earlier, but is a complete add on, and am not sure I want all of that (work). There has to be others out there who would want the GTech and Navigation, or aftermarket stereo, and put the 2 together. Maybe this is a new idea and no company has it yet. Next step is probably having the rear camera in it as well - i'm all for all in one.

I think unless you're willing to go CarPC, you're probably SOL. I know there have been some development in the g-force, 0-60, and lap timer areas of late but I don't remember much of the specifics. Of course a carpc would be some serious work, but i found it fun enough :)

CarPC looks very cool to me.

The 350Z was definitely a good car for a pc, the glove boxes behind the seats are close to the prospective screen location and roomy, the binnacle is high and in clear view, etc. Have a look around the mp3car.com forum for 350Z installs and you could easily port their ideas to the 370Z. I really liked having mine, but the suspension in the pony was not kind enough to the system, and i didn't design my pc to take the knocks. The hard drive has some bad sectors on it now. I would highly recommend some of the new solid state drives if you're thinking about a carpc, at least for your boot/OS/frontend.

They make solid state drives big enough to hold what you need by now. Infact you can make PC's small as hell as of lately.

My internet is a wireless. on top of my house is a computer that fits into my hand that souly runs a Mikrotik router.

I think a CarPC is more work than the HKS kit.

Didn't Pioneer have some sort of vehicle performance monitoring in some of their products?

iphone app and call it a day... a little off but atleast u can trick yourself into believing it

The car pc is not going to help you much as well. Almost anything you want to add for what you want is going to at least need a plug in or tap into wires. Your new double din head unit will have video inputs which you can hook up your add on right threw the head unit.
