Default Aftermarket Nav Questions

I'm looking at replacing the stock radio in a Base Model with an aftermarker Nav system. I've narrowed my choices down to the Kenwood 5120 or the Pioneer 900BT. At this point, my head has exploded and I need some advice.

First, do I need to replace the 4-speakers from the base system. If so, I am looking for a mid-level speaker that will sound okay. I'm not an audiophile, just don't want to waste the HU on crappy stock speakers. What would y'all recommend?

Second, the HU. I love how the Pioneer 900BT looks. But I think I like the Garmin nav on the Kenwood better. Can you change the backlighting color on the Kenwood like you can on the Pioneer?

That the point I'm at right. Thanks for any suggestions!
