Default Aux in behind headunit?

I am about to get the 370 touring+sports, but I am trying to figure out iPhone music playing. I want to get one of the available aux iphone car kits, however I don't want a cable going into the front of the headunit. Is there a port on the back that I could plug into?

no the kits have a wire that you can put in your glove box or cubby

I'm confused - is there a specific kit you are talking about? I simply meant any car kit that you plug into the aux input of a headunit.
There is the aux input on the front of the headunit but is there one in the back? Or is there another way to set this kind of thing up?

No there is not one on the back. I thought you were talking about maybe a kit to add another aux port on the back.

Doubt it from what I just checked. I do not think someone is going to make a kit for a rear aux input when there is one on the front. There are kits that add a dedicated ipod input that connect to the rear. There is also the choice of installing a new head unit.

Is there a way to run the iPod cable through into the center armrest? Just thinking that this may be a more convenient option.

Yes but you would need to drill a hole in your head rest inside to run the cable thru.

By head rest do you mean armrest? I'm trying to picture why we'd need to drill through the head rest....haha. Also, if you have an automatic, does the shifter twist off like in a manual? Or how do you get into that area if it does not twist off?

No just take the trim ring up and you can get the wire underneath I believe. Yes I mean arm rest.
