Hardwire Radar Detector
Not sure if this is the right location for this question, but we'll see.
I'm trying to hardwire my radar detector. I was planning on following the install instructions from Courtesy Nissan for the Homelink Rearview Mirror (link below). I think the switch wire I need to tap for radar power is the green "ignition wire" but I wanted to make sure that it isn't the red/white "battery wire." I believe the battery wire will cause the power to stay on the entire time. Can anyone confirm or deny? I know there is a DIY to wire it to the power outlet on the passenger side, but I would prefer to run the wire to the drivers side.
