That was kind of a rush, the plexiglass we ordered didnt' make it in time for HIN.
We used burch wood to make platforms to hold the amps. I wanted to use plexi glass and LED to give it that floating effect. We are currently working on that now:tup:

thank you for the compliment:tup:

The magden computer can read 14 different readouts from the OBD-II. Unfortunately, it can only display 5 at a time. Since the volt and oil is already displayed on the pods, you can choose different sensors like AFR, AIR INTAKE TEMP, IGNITION TIMING, and COOLANT TEMP. Best part is data logging, You can actually data log your car before and after each mod to see if there is any difference. For example, with the intake wars going on with different manufacturers, i data logged my G37 with 3 different intakes to see which one had the most significant air temp drop during normal and aggressive driving. (COLD AIR INTAKE DOES MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE)

As for the Navi, If you have a base model with without the bose, its easier to just replace the head unit to a double din with NAVI because you don't have to spend money to change the cubby. If you dislike the cubby that much then you have to get someone near your area to make a custom bracket just like what we did. Or you can always drive south to us and we can custom fabricate one for you:tup:

Where did you hide the actual PC? My future plan has been to do a CarPC install myself - I figure I know **** about car audio setups, but building computers is easy for me, so why not :-p.

the magden was small enough to install under the passenger seat. Depending on how big you make your carputer, you can hide them in the glove, under the seat or the space between the seats and the spare tire:tup:

Under the passenger seat is more than likely where I'd put mine. Thats where my friends was in his WRX, and it worked out nicely.

The guys over at mp3car have a thing against doing under seat installs, mostly related to head dissipation and space problems. Sometimes electric seats don't have very much clearance.

my :twocents::
Your only real demon is going to be heat production and getting that heat as far away from the case as possible as quickly as possible. large, low speed high flow fans will be your friend. Also, stay away from hard core game rig level computer hardware. Laptops are actually a really good solution with some work. PM if you want my laundry list from my build.

Ive been building computers since I was around 8 or so, I'll be fine with that aspect of it. Also, my seats arent power.
