The pac unit that is made for the JVC yes it works with it.
The dash kit for the z will fit if you really want absolutely no gap in your radio but it is not needed. Without it there might be a very small gap but not really seen if you use the stock dash kit. One thing I would do before you go buy the jvc is see it in person. In my personal opinion the screen is not that high quality compared to others.
