BTW,
I contacted GTM and they don't have a way to get wideband on the CAMP2. They suggested the FCON (which HKS suggests also) for AFR. I already have a wideband gauge so no harm, no foul. A couple of questions: One, I don't have my stock radio. Would it be a wise installing the CAMP2 on a screen where my stock radio should be? Should I buy a stock NAV and install it that way? |

Not exactly what I was asking but that's my fault for not being clear. I was trying to see if installing a LCD screen in replacement of the stock radio would be ok considering that I may need to see the information while I'm driving. I decided that I don't track my car long enough to really NEED to see the information to the 10 minute recording time should be enough for me.
I'll take to remember to post pix when I have everything installed and working. BTW, I choose the CAMP2 over the Magden (and other alternatives) because I'll eventually engine build and I'll probably need the F-CON V PRO. |

Digital: Digital you have two options, 3 or 6 viewable items
Sort of analog: I say sort of because it is the analog option but I did option 2 in it. 1 analog gauge and the rest digital. If you do option 1 it is 3 analog gauges and no digital

That's still better than putting in a pillar pod IMO, looks more clean and factory. seeing it on your car def makes me want to order. Nice setup, how is the reaction laggy at all or pretty smooth?

Lag is very little and sometimes it is nice having just a little bit as it gives me a chance to look at it and check on something that I heard to verify everything is good.

theDreamer: Any chance you could post what other accessories other than the Camp2 unit you are using, like the connector to monitor boost etc..

It is all a package basically, you buy the HKS Camp II and then there are add on sensors.
HKS USA CAMP2 Optional IF Unit and Sensors That link is to all the optional sensors you can add into the system for anything it does not read directly.

ok thanks.. so just so I'm reading that right, If I were to buy the Boost Sensor, part #44999-AK021, I need to get the Meter Interface Unit, part #44008-AK011 to connect that too right? And that Meter Interface Unit connects to the Camp2?

That part I am not 100% on as I just told the guys at Baker to order it and make sure I could read boost.

Yes you need the interface unit to connect any of the extra sensors that HKS sells.
