subwoofer & amplifier

What are some good ways to install subwoofer & amplifier so that it doesnt shake while driving. Is there anyway to install them without putting holes in your seats? pix

I am not fallowing you, why would you have holes in the back of your seat from installing a amp and or sub?

Most people install the amp behind the seat on the tray or under the seat or under the foam in the trunk and the sub in a z enclosure box.

Velcro on the bottom of the amp and put it under the seat? Make a board and put int where the small piece of foam is in the trunk?

I like the idea you got JoeZ but I'm curious if it's possible to forward mount a small sub into where there's normally the plastic divider. Like below.

I see what your saying. That would be pretty cool but i am not sure if there is enough space there for anything practical. Matt(bigaudiofan) is definately the guy to talk to he knows his stuff. I think maybe an 8" sub could fit there. or 2 6" drivers. keep me posted I would like to see what you decide

I just bolted my amp to the sub box itself. It's just easier for removal when you need to get to your spare.

I'll post up the pics tonight.

True, it is but it also tends to shake the crap out of the internals of your amp.

Yes that is the rear seat of a GT-R R35. The Z isn't too far off from that but I know it wouldn't accommodate 2 subs for sure. I'm not sure though if it's proper to install a sub that's pointing directly at the stereo instead of into a direct obstacle.

Any ideas on this would be cool but if it's possible to install a sub and amp under each seat would be awesome.

I'm trying to keep my system as stealth as possible so that thieves aren't as enticed.

It is possible as long as you have the money for it to be done and done right. The sub will be fine aimed towards the front of the car I use to have one in my car aimed forward with no problems and sounded good. You just would get more bass from it if it was aimed to the rear.
