Hey I saw these Polk/Momo speakers that look pretty sick. I noticed the depth is about an inch more then the db series, will I need the spacers for these or are the db's a better speaker? MM6 - Polk Audio 6.5" Momo Competition Component Set

They might. Any speaker is going to sound better with a external amp powering them. The db series can be ran well off a.head until maybe better than yous

That woofersetc site really is awesome, they have those Polk DB speakers for like a $100. Everywhere else i've only found them for like $200. I just don't know if the Momos are worth the extra $100

If you are going to amp them go for the mm's the momos are the old series the new ones that took over are the mm's.

oh ok, I guess I'll just go with the Polk DB's since I won't need spacers, $100 cheaper, and should sound much better then stock running off an aftermarket headunit (Kenwood DNX-5120).
