I have always had very good luck with Punch amps. I have an old "gernade" style Punch 200 that has always taken good care of me.
I agree, for me it took a while to get ofer the stigma that subs had to be run two or more. But I am not into the huge bass anymore, much more into sound quality, and believe a single 10" or 12" will suffice in a small car like a Z. Personally, I would take the money saved buying one sub and put towards a better amp. Good luck, let us know what you decide. *EDIT* Are the Punch amps 1 ohm stable? I think I always ran mine at 2 ohm. |
Rule of thumb is: Good amps make poor speakers sound good and good speakers even better!
