also another question. dynamatting the boot, is the noise reduction worth it? i was thinking maybe put some thick carpet material instead.

Most people want to get rid of the bose sub and keep the spare. I think you are the first who is doing the oposite. The sub sits inside the spare tire so without that you would need something to hold it there.

i guess you could make some sort of a bushing to put under the spare to space it out from the bottom of the car so that the giant screw that goes through the middle and secures tightly.

Help us challenged Americans. What area are you speaking of when you ask about the boot? Does that equate to our trunk? I always thought it was the front.
If it is the rear that you're talking about, yes, I think it's worth it. The noise dropped drastically when I did mine. I used to hear every little rock that I hit and now I don't even notice it. |

ok thanks. yes i do mean the rear boot.
as with the sub and spare tire issue. the sub weights practically nothing! so why would i take the sub out? yeah i think i do need to make a device that can support the sub (to replace the spare tire) anyone have any ideas on what to substitute it with? |

I would just take both out put in a nice sub with a mtx re-q and a amp and be done.
Also I love how the trunk is called the boot pretty neat. Always enjoy it on Top Gear.
