touring sound system - audio source levels
hi guys -
searched for a bit and couldn't find much - any thoughts on why the audio levels vary so greatly between FM / SAT / CD / AUX ? it's like there is a separate gain on each input and it doesn't feel natural CD volume at 12 or 13 equals SAT volume at 18 or 19 same with AUX vs FM weird ?

CD, aux are direct digital input. With any radio transmission, you're losing a lot in the transmission. I'd had to guess and say that you're not getting the full wavelength of sound from the radio transmission.
