Just mounted my nuvi in the cubby and will post pictures today or tomorrow. I basically took the adhesive disc that comes with nuvi, used epoxy to glue it cleanly to the rear wall of the cubby (the adhesive didn't stick) and have a suction arm I got at Best Buy that will allow it to extend/move around and still let me close the cubby when done. Very clean, seems very sturdy, now I just need to run the wires under the dash.
I also got the Garmin 1300T which has the USB cable plugged into the BACK of the unit, which makes things a lot cleaner as well. Update: Now with photos. I really like this implementation. I only have left to tuck the wires inside of the console. I'll likely do that next weekend, just need one of those tools to wedge up the pieces. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Kones; 07-05-2010 at 10:56 PM. |
