pics.....new stereo
I finally installed everything. I was working on somewhat of a budget because i still need to get tint, clear bra, and a car cover. So this is what i got.
Pioneer avh-p3200bt Pioneer nd-bc4 (backup camera) Pac adapter for pioneer. Illuminated Kick Plates I am very happy with the radio. the only down side is that the usb for the ipod is on the front. So i put all my songs on an 8 gig SD card, and it works fine, except it doesn't show the album art. The Pac adapter actually works better then i thought it would, there is no delay that i can tell over stock. thanks for everybody's input and help with the backup camera |

Thanks for posting this, I am considering this same radio. So is there no way to plug the Pioneer iPod cable in the back? Is the only iPod connection the USB port on the front?

errett,
thats correct. In my opinion the radio is awesome for the price. the 2 things that could be better is the USB port should be in the back so you could hide your ipod, and the Bluetooth should have steaming audio. If you wanted to you could get the avh-p3200dvd and and the BT adapter. |

nice job. i noticed your faceplate has considerably more swirls than my 3100... is there protective film still on your unit?
the front USB port is actually good for me cause i can use it to power other things... like my aftermarket nav. since you have the SD card slot more power to you for easy access to music files. you can get those tiny USB drives too if necessary. |

ya, I've been looking at the 3200bt as well, but the bluetooth not streaming audio is going to be a deal breaker for me

I did a install with a pioneer head unit a few weeks ago. Using the stock panel looks like crap with the gap. If you buy the aftermarket piece it looks much better with no gap at all. If you are installing a kenwood you do not need the panel.

yeah, there is a small gap. it doesn't bother me. a actually prefer it better than the dash kits. I have one in my altima and i thinks it looks like crap. but i deal with it because i like the bluetooth. If the gap is going to bother you, us the dash kit. other than that i love the head unit.
As for tips in the install, use AK's post or the video installs and you should have no prob. good luck with the install |

I have the same head unit and there is a small gap. But it really isn't noticeable and the photo above uses a flash that really artificially emphasizes the gap.
