I just bought a Pioneer Z110BT 2-Din NAV unit to replace the factory one on my 2009 370Z Nismo. I've been looking also for a subwoofer (probably a JL 12W6V2) powered by a JL 500/1v. Please, I need some advices on the midbass/tweeters kit and the amp to power up those woofers. Do you think that replacing the subwoofer by a 6" on the doors could save me space and still keep a good power/quality? I'm looking for SQ and not SPL.

I ran the Zenclosure with a 12" Kicker L7. Phoenix Gold monoblock 600w amp for the power and it hits most every note I have thrown at it. I couldnt be happier with its response. It may be a little overkill but I love deep rumbling bass. I have never used a sealed enclosure, but my installer swore it would be fine. It is. Just another idea for you. What you've been talking about sounds good as well.
Just saw your install, I dont know how I read past it. Duh me
