Copy music from laptop? Is it possible?

Hey guys, I tried searching but my phone crashes every time I do it and closes the page ;(

here's my isssue - I have literally months of music on my laptop - approx. 80-90GB of it. Now I can't figure out if it's possible to get music on the HD of the car via a way other than cd's (ridiculosly time consuming) or the CF card (which I don't have) can it be done somehow via USB or Bluetooth? Let me know if this is possible and how to do it - if not, I guess I'm stuck dragging the iPod from car to car, which I forget almost every time! :(

thanks in advance!

How about an external hard drive and usb. copy and paste just like a back up.

Hmmm. Will it copy off a USB stick? If so, I can jam it with tunes in just 1 trip :)

From what i know..... nothing works. Only way to the harddrive is via copying from cd's. Get a CF card, they're cheap ( $20 for a 4 GB card) and a card reader ($15)

Disappointing.... I think I'll just use my iPod. It's s 60gb brickpod that I still use daily. I believe the cars controls will work well w/it. I guess I'll rip my friends' CDs on the go to fill the HD. (I don't really want to blow money on a CF card just to put music on my car, I'll never use it again..)

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll still try the USB stick!

You can only rip from CD's, which is dumb. What type flash memory cards do you have laying around? You can buy an compact flash adapter for your memory cards laying around. When I was looking at getting my Z with the Nav, i was going to buy this compact flash to memory stick duo adapater because I have a bunch of those sticks, and it was only like $35. Just another idea for you.

Haha, I don't have any flash sticks :( just laptops iPods USB sticks.. Looks like the iPod is the way to go for me.

a lot of people just buy an ipod classic with a broken screen.
