"Pack" Model '10 Stereo System - HDD Recording
 

Hey guys,

So i got my new Z a few days ago and got the Audio System with the Touchscreen and built-in harddrive. Now I might be blind, but I can't find the option in the Menus to record either a CD or my Thumbdrive to the harddrive.

I'd be very thankful for a hint where that sub-menu is hiding!

Should be in the manual or on the DVD disc that came with the car. I believe it only records to the hard drive via CD, not the compact flash slot.

Well CD would be fine, but i find no entry regarding that in the Manual and there was no Cd coming wtih the car ?

Open that PDF file and drop down to page 171 of 342, that begins the CD/HDD setup and such.

Thanks, but exactly that "Rec" Button showed in the image on that page does not show up in my CD Menu. Can that thing only save Non-MP3 CDs ?

Yes you can only "save" proper CDs, not MP3 CDs. Its Nissans crappy way to try and stop piracy :shakes head:

Great. So I can basically take 2 weeks off to get all my CDs, which I previously combined onto MP3 CDs, onto my high-tech hdd ... thank you Nissan.
