I'm in the process of hardwiring my detector into my car and I had a question. Is the hardwire cord length from escort sufficent enough to reach the center buttons

Escort radar detector hardwire
I'm in the process of hardwiring my detector into my car and I had a question.
Is the hardwire cord length from escort sufficent enough to reach the center buttons on the center console without needing some sort of extension? Iv read up on the do it your self post and no one mentioned needing too but the cord is only 8ft long and I don't know if it will reach from underneath the rear view mirror and all the way though the headliner. And down the a pillar and into the center with just 8 feet. If anyone can shed some light please do |
