Buying a new HU
I am about to buy a new Head unit. If anybody has either of the 2, please let me know what you think. I know these Head units are cheap in comparison to some of the ones that are out there but right now these are about all i can afford, i really don't want the nav function. I do however want to add a backup camera, which is a whole other discussion
Pioneer AVH-P3200BT ($399) or Sony XAV-60 ($350) any others that you could recommend i would appreciate it thanks |

Haven't looked at the Sony, but I personally don't think they are the company the were in the early 90's. Good luck with your decision. E |
Of the two, go with Pioneer. Pioneer has way more connectivity options all-the-way-around.
|
yep pioneer.

Yea I use a pioneer avic-900BT and i love it...It runs on Windows CE and u can run it in safe mode and Use it as a web browser with a wifi SD card. Its pretty sick.

I like this...........how did you get this to work? I know I can buy a SanDish Wi-Fi SD card for ~ $100. |
you dont install Window CE...the nav already runs on that...you boot up in safe mode after you back all your files(just in case) Its a pretty dope nav unit....ppl talk crap about pioneer, but i've never had problems with it....
The wifi sd card doesnt have to be san disk...cheaper ones on ebay are like 40-50 bones. Tether your cell to use internet or on school campus...you can use the open network(neve tried this but will someday) ... |
^^ any videos..........wow I like. +1 for Pioneer
|
If I had to choose I would go with the pioneer......................
