New speaker install??

I'm getting things together now to upgrade the speakers in my car. I've decided to go with Focal Access 6.5's powered by a rockford 400-2 amp, and no rear speakers.

Default New speaker install??

I'm getting things together now to upgrade the speakers in my car. I've decided to go with Focal Access 6.5's powered by a rockford 400-2 amp, and no rear speakers. I will be using dynamat in the doors as well.I currently have a kenwood in-dash nav and 12 inch sub installed, just curious if i am going to need spacers for the speakers in the front? Also, from what I've read I don't think the rear speakers are needed?

you will definately need a set of 1/2" spacers. make them out of mdf or you can order a set from z-enclosures. They're easy enough to make and most Nissans ive done use the same adapter.

That's what I thought, but why the need for the spacers?

when you pull the stock speaker out you'll see why. Theres not much available mounting depth before a speaker would hit the glass with the window down.

If you have the Touring model, I can make you a set of spacers. Let me know.
